JBL On Stage Micro radio Black
6:54 AM
adnanmalik29
The Good: The JBL On Stage Micro speaker offers a built-in iPod dock, a super compact footprint, and solid sound. It can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter, is available in a variety of color options, includes a handy remote, and can be used with any audio source.
The Bad: The JBL On Stage Micro speaker is lacking in bass and is a bit pricey compared to similar options. There's no case for travel.
The Bottom Line: The JBL On Stage Micro is a good option for iPod owners who want a cute, and compact, portable speaker that matches the player.
HP xb2000 Notebook
6:32 AM
adnanmalik29
The good: Decent assortment of ports; very good speakers; included wireless keyboard and mouse; accommodates optional built-in hard drive; adjustable tilt and height; volume controls and mute.
The bad: Heavy and bulky; awkward connector; lacks a handful of connections.
The bottom line: The HP xb2000 notebook expansion base features most of the important ports, as well as a great set of speakers and a wireless keyboard and mouse, but it's very expensive.
Review:
It's heavy and takes up more desk space than any other setup we evaluated, but the HP xb2000 notebook expansion base is a fairly complete docking solution that will turn your laptop into a true desktop PC. The xb2000 incorporates high-quality speakers, a wireless keyboard-mouse combo, and a bay for a high-capacity hard drive. It's also compatible with a half dozen different HP Compaq notebooks (HP Pavilion models zx/zv5000, dv1000, zd8000, and ze2000, as well as Compaq Presario models M2000, R3000, X6000 and V2000).
Once the notebook is hooked up to the xb2000's large connector--something of an awkward operation--you'll still have access to your notebook's keyboard; this came in handy when we wanted to use the Pavilion dv1000's QuickPlay feature. The expansion base can be tilted up to 45 degrees backward, and you can also adjust the height between 6 and 10 inches so that the display is at eye level. On the downside, we found the whole setup somewhat wobbly.
At the base of the xb2000 sit a pair of Harman Kardon speakers, with a prominent thumbwheel to control volume and a mute button. If you're already using one of HP's multimedia notebooks that features Harman Kardon speakers--the Pavilion zd7000, zd8000, or dv1000, for example--the speakers are overkill; if not, you're sure to get richer sound than you'd get from your system's built-in speakers.
The xb2000 lacks a few connections; if you require a parallel, serial, PS/2, or DVI port, look elsewhere. All of the most common inputs and outputs are present, however, including three USB 2.0 ports, S-Video, and composite video, analog and digital audio, as well as modem and LAN connections. Unlike many other docks, when connected to the xb2000, all of your notebook's native ports remain active and accessible. The expansion base also accommodates an optional 160GB USB hard drive; it's easy to use--it simply shows up as the next available drive letter when the system is docked--but it also requires its own AC adapter, which is included. The optional hard drive is perfect for backing up your system, archiving files, or stashing the flotsam and jetsam of your digital life on the road. The xb2000 moved data more quickly than average, reading at 74.3Mbps and writing at 66.6Mbps.
Palm Wireless Keyboard with Bluetooth Wireless Technology
6:23 AM
adnanmalik29
The good: The Palm Wireless Keyboard features a spacious layout with large, tactile keys and folds into a travel-friendly device. Setup is simple, and it's easy to use.
The bad: The keyboard is only compatible with a limited number of Palm products. The PDA/smart phone stand is also flimsy.
The bottom line: For the ultimate road warrior, the Palm Wireless Keyboard is an easy-to-use and practical accessory for your smart phone or PDA so you can more easily get your work done on the go.
Review:
Palm may have just announced its Foleo smart-phone companion--a Linux-based device that lets you more easily view and edit e-mail and office documents with its full-size keyboard and 10-inch screen--but it remains to be seen whether the Foleo will fly or die. Personally, I think there are better alternatives out there, including the latest Palm Wireless Keyboard with Bluetooth Wireless Technology. True, you won't get the whole kit and caboodle of the Foleo, but you do get a spacious keyboard that lets you easily type messages, notes, and more. In addition, setup is simple, and it features a travel-friendly design. The one downfall is that it's only compatible with a limited number of Palm products (you can check for compatibility here), whereas the Palm Universal Wireless keyboard worked with devices outside of Palm. Still, for the road warrior, the Palm Wireless Keyboard is a useful tool that lets you easily get work done on the go without having to break out the laptop. It just has a more streamlined design, and we worry about the durability of the Palm keyboard's plastic casing, whereas the Stowaway has a more sturdy aluminum casing. Still, the Palm keyboard isn't too shabby. A button on the right side unlocks the keyboard, which opens just like a book. There is a sliding lock mechanism on the top of device that's a bit hard to slide back and forth, and even in the locked position, the keyboard still folds a bit. You can still potentially use it on an uneven surface or your lap, but you'll get the best results when the keyboard is placed on a flat surface. There are also four rubber grips on the outside cover of the keyboard that prevent it from slipping around your desk.
The stand for your PDA or smart phone is right above the lock lever on the left half of the keyboard, and you can position your device in either landscape or portrait mode. As we've found on these types of keyboards, the stand is rather flimsy, which is another reason we wouldn't want to place the keyboard on anything but a flat surface for fear that our handheld would slip right off the stand. However, you don't have to keep your smart phone or PDA on the stand; you can have your device nearby, and as long as it stays within the 30-foot Bluetooth range, the two should stay connected.
Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350
6:16 AM
adnanmalik29
The good: Comfortable keyboard design; impressive list of customizable features; affordable compared with other ergonomic keyboards.
The bad: Inconveniently placed media keys.
The bottom line: The Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350 stands out for its comfortable ergonomic touches, an easy learning curve, affordable price, and unique Unifying connection. We have minor issues with the placement of the media controls, but heavy typists will appreciate what Logitech has to offer.
Review:
Editors' note: Aside from the Unifying USB receiver, the Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350 is an exact copy of the Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard. As a result, much of the copy is taken from the original review.
Logitech's new Wireless K350 offers a solid keyboard design if you want a little more comfort in your day-to-day typing. A cleverly designed key layout gently angles your wrists toward a less stressful typing position, without requiring you to relearn how to type. The $60 price tag for the wireless keyboard is a fair deal as well. A few back steps in hot-key layout make us wish Logitech had taken a more all-around approach in its design, but for its stated purpose, we found that the Wireless Keyboard K350 is easy to adjust to and comfortable to use.
Logitech incorporates three design elements into its K350 keyboard that make it stand out from the competition. The first is the so-called "wave" design, which angles the edge keys, and the two rows in the middle up toward your fingers, and pushes the keys in the W, E, and R, and I, O, and P rows lower. The idea is to accommodate the different lengths of your fingers. The varying height of the keys is supposed to match up with each digit in a more natural fit.

adnanmalik29
It’s almost a common perception in the world of information technology and communication that 2010 was the year oftablet pc. If you believe on this perception then what will you say about what all bigwigs of computer industry said. Motorola, HTC, RIM, Apple, Dell, Asus, Acer, and MSI all have confirmed that they will be launching their tablet pc in the first quarter of first half of the 2011. When there is so much to choose I am wondering that what I will be doing at the time when I decide to purchase a tablet pc.
Following a detail of what we have heard of about the news of tablet pc and what the companies said about it.
Motorola
Motorola is confirmed that it will be launching a tabled device in the upcoming consumer electronics show (CES) which is going to be held in this month. Although they have not given a name but rumors are spreading in the market that it will be called “Xoom”.
HTC
As far as the HTC is concerned the rumors are there about a touch pad namely “HTCPad”. We are not confirmed about this product as HTC officials have not yet confirmed about it and more worse about the rumor is that there is no sign of even developing of any such tablet. Pretty hilarious rumor or otherwise the tablet name.In 2010 HTC reveled HTC Desire, HTC Legend and the HTC HD mini. By keeping this track record in mind, we can say that HTC can surprise the world by showing some invention in the upcoming mobile world congress going to be held in February.
HP
As the CEO of hp said about a product with Microsoft web based technology we can assume that hp is set to launch a new product in 2011. Experts of the industry say that hp is expected to surprise the worlds in January of February. Thehardware specification of the upcoming tabled pc could be as of Apple iPad. The tablet could bear 4G technology with USB 3.0 port.
BlackBerry PlayBook
Talking about the blackberry playbook we can say that it can come in the month of March 2011. And the officials of theblackberry will try their best to release it before the release of apple iPad 2. Still the launch date and price of this product is a mystery.
Apple iPad 2
Here comes the most awaited tablet of the year. We know your hearts are pumping to hear its release date but hold it as there is no such date confirmed by apple officials. As far as the rumors are concerned, apple will launch the apple iPad 2 in April. This time it will be with better features and obviously with new features too.
Asus
Asus is also expected to enter into the world of tablet pc in year2011. They have planned three or more devices for this year. The devices are said to running on android and windows 7. A eBook reader is also on their agenda.
Dell
Dell had already launched dell streak in the tabled pc marketbut this year they are hoping to upgrade their tablet pc with new features. They are planning to bring two more devices this year. The devices are still a mystery.
MSI
MSI is working on a tablet pc or another device for more than a year and company is expected to produce a device this year with an Nvidia tegra and Google Android.

adnanmalik29
Samsung, with its Omnia series- consisting of 2 handsets, has yet once again given the phone lovers something to celebrate. Samsung 900 Omnia and Samsung i8910 Omnia HD are the two variants in the series. Now that Samsung Omnia phones are available with the O2 network, the deal becomes practically irresistible.
Samsung 900 Omnia has a TFT resistive touch screen that supports 256K colours. The size of the screen is 3 inches and 240 x 400 pixels. The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD, on the other hand, has an AMOLED capacitive touch screen that supports 16M colours, having the screen size of 3.7 inches. The screen of this phone is also scratch resistant. The Omnia HD is slightly bigger and heavier than the Omnia 900. Shure Launches New Range of Headphones
11:24 PM
adnanmalik29
Shure has long been known for producing high quality headphones and we’re sure the latest line of audio headsets won’t be much different. The one difference however is that the latest in-ear headphones, the SE215s.
This seems like a bit of a bargain. For audiophiles out there who are a little strapped for cash, these earphones could be the answer to their prayers. The SE215s Sound isolating Earphone features a newly developed Dynamic MicroDriver to help enhance bass and improve noise isolation.
Philips LHH1000 CD Player
11:18 PM
adnanmalik29
Though one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the world, Philips until recently has been content to hide its American face behind a bevy of other brand names: Magnavox, Sylvania , and Philco (all originally US companies but now part of the Philips empire). Audiophiles will be most familiar with the company's inexpensive Magnavox CD players, but when Philips decided to move up market with their audio products, they decided to launch the Philips brand here in the US with a range of CD players, a CD-Video player, a number of integrated amplifiers and receivers, a cassette deck, and two loudspeakers.
The LHH1000, which was launched at the recent Las Vegas CES, represents the top of that new Philips line. Made in Japan by the Philips-owned company that manufactures much of the product sold under the Marantz brand (footnote 1), the LHH1000 is a two-box CD player
Externally, the LHH1000 came as a bit of a surprise to these jaded eyes, over-familiar with plain black or brushed-aluminum boxes. Each enclosure is finished in an almost white, anodized finish, with greenish-gray endcaps (made from zinc alloy, I believe) painted with a nubbly, crackle finish—an attractively utilitarian styling with shades of military-surplus radio equipment, nicely set off by subdued blue fluorescent readouts. Internally, the units are constructed to audiophile standards. The transport uses Philips's top CDM-1 mechanism, which is fabricated from diecast aluminum, compared with the plastic CDM-4 mechanism which appears in less expensive and less well-specified players. The loading tray, too, which is made from metal, has a reassuringly solid feel to it.
The only obvious front-panel controls are Play, Stop, and Track Select (forward and back). A swing-down front-panel carries all the programming controls—including Philips's Favorite Track Selection—and less-often-used playback controls (although I do feel that Pause should be on the main panel). However, as with most CD players, all commands will be most often used from the remote control. The player is fitted with one optical and two coaxial outputs, each carrying the standard, multiplexed-stereo, serial data stream. An adaptor is provided to enable the LHH1001 to play 3" CD singles.
Sharp LC40L650X LCD TV
11:14 PM
adnanmalik29
Sharp's LC40L650X LCD TV misses out on the advanced features found in more expensive televisions but for watching Blu-ray, DVD and broadcast television it does an acceptable job. Its USB input plays back a range of files, and it has good picture quality for a budget television.
Sharp's newest mid-range LCD TV is the LC40L650X, a 40in screen with traditional CCFL backlighting. We think it's slightly too expensive at its recommended retail price for the features you get, but you might be able to find it on sale. It's an LCD television with good picture quality and a useful USB media playback mode, but we don't like the slightly long delay when changing channels.

Users may appreciate the stylish SlimStar 8000’s form of a full-size keyboard and 1200dpi optical wireless mouse. For impressive tactile feedback, the innovative keycaps have been fitted precisely, while the ultra-slim design provides additional comfort.
