Tabtet PC in 2010 and 2011

It’s almost a common perception in the world of information technology and communication that 2010 was the year oftablet pc. If you believe on this perception then what will you say about what all bigwigs of computer industry said. Motorola, HTC, RIM, Apple, Dell, Asus, Acer, and MSI all have confirmed that they will be launching their tablet pc in the first quarter of first half of the 2011. When there is so much to choose I am wondering that what I will be doing at the time when I decide to purchase a tablet pc.

Following a detail of what we have heard of about the news of tablet pc and what the companies said about it.

Motorola

Motorola is confirmed that it will be launching a tabled device in the upcoming consumer electronics show (CES) which is going to be held in this month. Although they have not given a name but rumors are spreading in the market that it will be called “Xoom”.

HTC

As far as the HTC is concerned the rumors are there about a touch pad namely “HTCPad”. We are not confirmed about this product as HTC officials have not yet confirmed about it and more worse about the rumor is that there is no sign of even developing of any such tablet. Pretty hilarious rumor or otherwise the tablet name.In 2010 HTC reveled HTC Desire, HTC Legend and the HTC HD mini. By keeping this track record in mind, we can say that HTC can surprise the world by showing some invention in the upcoming mobile world congress going to be held in February.

HP

As the CEO of hp said about a product with Microsoft web based technology we can assume that hp is set to launch a new product in 2011. Experts of the industry say that hp is expected to surprise the worlds in January of February. Thehardware specification of the upcoming tabled pc could be as of Apple iPad. The tablet could bear 4G technology with USB 3.0 port.

BlackBerry PlayBook

Talking about the blackberry playbook we can say that it can come in the month of March 2011. And the officials of theblackberry will try their best to release it before the release of apple iPad 2. Still the launch date and price of this product is a mystery.

Apple iPad 2

Here comes the most awaited tablet of the year. We know your hearts are pumping to hear its release date but hold it as there is no such date confirmed by apple officials. As far as the rumors are concerned, apple will launch the apple iPad 2 in April. This time it will be with better features and obviously with new features too.

Asus

Asus is also expected to enter into the world of tablet pc in year2011. They have planned three or more devices for this year. The devices are said to running on android and windows 7. A eBook reader is also on their agenda.

Dell

Dell had already launched dell streak in the tabled pc marketbut this year they are hoping to upgrade their tablet pc with new features. They are planning to bring two more devices this year. The devices are still a mystery.

MSI

MSI is working on a tablet pc or another device for more than a year and company is expected to produce a device this year with an Nvidia tegra and Google Android.

Samsung Omnia with O2: Remarkable combination

Samsung, with its Omnia series- consisting of 2 handsets, has yet once again given the phone lovers something to celebrate. Samsung 900 Omnia and Samsung i8910 Omnia HD are the two variants in the series. Now that Samsung Omnia phones are available with the O2 network, the deal becomes practically irresistible.

Samsung 900 Omnia has a TFT resistive touch screen that supports 256K colours. The size of the screen is 3 inches and 240 x 400 pixels. The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD, on the other hand, has an AMOLED capacitive touch screen that supports 16M colours, having the screen size of 3.7 inches. The browser of the second in the series phone is also superior to the earlier model. Other features like the radio, EDGE, card slot, etc., are the same in both the phones.
